THOMB Drives A Formula 4 Car at Sebring, Florida

On the 10th of October, Thom travelled to the USA and Canada to participate in a reality TV show as a special guest coach on sim racing and real racing.

As part of the show, Thom took on the track of Sebring International Raceway in the FIA-spec Formula 4 car; the same car that he drove a month before at the Paul Ricard track during the unique F1 Driving Experience. Having the first taste of racing cars under his belt, Thom was able to play with the car a little more as he gained more confidence. This is what he said about the experience:

“I am beyond grateful that I got to experience another Formula 4 car, just a couple weeks after my very first time driving a F4. It was loads of fun to throw the car around the corners and get to experience a different type of track that I hadn’t even driven on the simulator before. Obviously I did a couple of laps at home once I knew I was gonna drive, but I didn’t know the track at all before that, haha! It’s so cool to see my sim racing skills to a certain extent transferring to the real world. Push push push!”
